Dileep’s ‘Prince and Family’ unveils its first song; Afzal returns after 10 years

Afzal, who has sung several hit songs for Dileep in the past, is back once again. The first song, ‘Heartbeat Koodanu,’ sung by Afzal for Dileep’s upcoming film Prince and Family, has been officially unveiled by the makers.

‘Heartbeat Koodanu’ song features the old style charm of Dileep and the glimpses of comedic moments in the song, promises that ‘Prince and Family’ will be surely a family entertainer.

‘Heartbeat Koodanu’ song is getting good responses from the audiences. One comment read, “ദിലീപേട്ടൻ - അഫ്സലിക്ക കൂട്ട്കെട്ടിൽ പിറന്ന പാട്ടുകളൊക്കെ കിടിലനാകുമെന്നതിൽ തർക്കമില്ല! (There’s no doubt that every song born from the Dileep-Afzal duo will be a banger!)” Another comment read, “If a song keeps you smiling till the very end, it has to be from a Dileepettan movie… Waiting for Prince and Family – April 25!.” A third comment read, “If you want to leave the theatre with a smile, Dileep movies need to make a comeback!.”
The film’s music is composed by Sanal Dev, with lyrics penned by Vinayak Sasikumar and Manu Manjith. ‘Prince and Family’ features a stellar ensemble cast, including Dileep, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Bindu Panicker, Siddique, Manju Pillai, Urvashi, and Johny Antony. The film is directed by Binto Stephen.
‘Prince and Family’ marks a special milestone as Dileep’s 150th film and the expectations are also quite high for this feel-good family drama movie.

Meanwhile, Dileep is in strong need of a perfect comeback film, as most of his recent releases have been underwhelming. His previous outing was the comedy-drama ‘Pavi Caretaker’. Although Vineeth's directorial was a decent effort, the film did not perform well at the box office.
