Kim Soo Hyun nicknamed 'K-Diddy' after Sean 'Diddy' Combs amid allegations of underage relationship with late Kim Sae Ron

South Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun has found himself at the centre of a social media storm as allegations surrounding his alleged past relationship with the late actress Kim Sae Ron continue to make headlines.
In the wake of fresh claims, photos and love letters being leaked online, netizens have begun referring to the actor as 'K-Diddy', drawing comparisons to American music mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs, who is facing his own set of legal troubles related to allegations of sex trafficking, rape and sexual misconduct.

The nickname surfaced online after reports alleged that Kim Soo Hyun was romantically involved with Kim Sae Ron when she was still a minor. The revelations sparked off a controversy and ignited heated discussions across social media, with some netizens condemning the actor and linking his actions to Kim Sae Ron's sudden demise on his birthday in February.





The comparison to P Diddy —who is currently in jail and facing trial —has further fueled the online buzz and interest on the case.




The claims were initially brought forward by the controversial YouTube channel Garo Sero Research Institute, which has threatened to release further evidence if Kim does not publicly apologize to Kim Sae Ron’s family in a statement he plans on releasing next week.

Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, has vehemently denied all claims, calling them “baseless and groundless.” In a statement released on March 13, the agency vowed to take legal action against the spread of misinformation and announced plans to present evidence refuting the allegations.
Meanwhile, sources close to Kim Soo Hyun have reported that he is 'struggling' with the ongoing scandal, with one insider stating that he has been personally apologizing to his co-stars and director while continuing the filming of his upcoming drama, Knock-Off.
