NEW DELHI: Shubman Gill-led Gujarat Titans surged to the top of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 standings after a commanding 58-run victory over
Rajasthan Royals at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Wednesday.
With their fourth win in five matches, Gujarat moved two points clear of Delhi Capitals, sitting comfortably at the summit with 8 points and an impressive net run rate of +1.413. The victory not only solidified GT's place as early pace-setters in the tournament but also served as a major statement of intent.

Batting first, GT posted a formidable 217 for 6, powered by a brilliant 82 off 53 balls from Sai Sudharsan. Support came from Jos Buttler and M Shahrukh Khan, who scored 36 apiece.
In reply, the Royals were bundled out for 159 in 19.2 overs despite a fighting 52 from
Shimron Hetmyer and a steady 41 from skipper
Sanju Samson. GT's bowling unit fired in unison, with
