Comedian Rakesh Poojary passes away due to heart attack

Rakesh Poojary, actor and winner of the reality show Comedy Khiladigalu season 3, succumbed to a heart attack on Sunday night. He was 33. He was attending a friend’s mehendi ceremony when he collapsed due to low blood pressure. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was unfortunately declared dead. Rakesh’s last rites will be performed at Udupi. Mourning the loss of Rakesh, actor Rakshitha Prem, who was a judge on the reality show he won, says, “He was the most talented and sweetest guy who had a bright future. He used to make all of us laugh, all the time. It’s heartbreaking to lose someone like him at such a young age, especially since he was like my own family.”
