Jonathan Lipnicki, the adorable child actor from the ‘Stuart Little,’ had a commendable career in the childhood; however, the 34-year-old struggles to find worthy scripts. While the career might not have taken off as he envisioned, Jonathan says he’s ‘all right’ for now.
What did Jonathan Lipnicki admit?
In a conversation with People magazine, Jonathan admits to the rough transition from child actor to an adult one. “It's totally fine to say I'm not where I want to be career-wise. Everything we're doing in this life is nearly impossible,” he said.
“This is the thing I want to do for the rest of my life, and I think you just have to believe it's going to happen and do everything in your power to take action in the right direction,” he added.
Jonathan Lipnicki's 'half-and-half' career
Lipnicki shared that after he completed his highschool, he decided to enhance his skills and purposefully cut back from his career. Instead, he took acting classes, and started to star in more independent films as well as Los Angeles stage productions.
“I've had half-and-half in my adult career where there are some things that were really good and nobody saw them,” Jonathan stated, adding that while he doesn’t regret those, others made him rethink the options he agrees to.
For the hope of it all...
“To be quite honest, I said no to about five movies in the last year,” Jonathan admitted, adding that he is waiting to ship to be turned and influences to be changed.
In the hope that the best is yet to come, Jonathan said, “And I pray every night for clarity on where I need to go.” “And I think you just have to believe that. If you're going to pursue this, you're doing yourself a disservice not to dream big,” he continued.
