Prof Saxena, a retired professor from the College of Arts & Crafts, Lucknow University, who has an artistic career spanning over 40 years, shared, “My paintings represent contemporary expression through the power of colours. While shape holds strength in painting, I focus on how colours influence emotions. Orange stands for joy, and blue for calmness. Another theme I explore is transparency, how the world might feel if everything, from humans to animals, turned see-through. It is important for the city to have such art events for distinguished artists to explore different kind of creativity and art themes.”
