Crunchyroll has officially announced the English dubbed version of The Beginning After the End anime. The dub will release on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, just two weeks after the anime first premiered. Fans in India can stream it on Crunchyroll, as the platform is streaming the series worldwide (except in some Asian regions, but India is included).
The Beginning After the End, also known as TBATE, is based on the popular web novel by TurtleMe and illustrated by Fuyuki23. The original story has been published on Tapas since 2017. The anime is produced by Studio A-Cat and follows the journey of Arthur Leywin, a boy who remembers his past life as a powerful king named Grey. Reborn in a new world full of magic and danger, Arthur starts fresh and faces new challenges while protecting the people he loves.

The English dub features Amber May as Arthur and Christopher Wehkamp as King Grey. Other voice actors include Colleen Clinkenbeard as Alice, Kayla Temshiv as Sylvie, Jessie James Grelle as Rey, and Brandon Acosta as the Soldier. More cast members will be announced as the anime continues.
The English dub is directed by Jonathan Rigg, with Heather Walker writing the English script. Samantha Herek is the producer, Neal Malley is the mixer, and Derric Benavides is the audio engineer.
Meanwhile, in the original Japanese version, Natsumi Fujiwara plays Arthur and Makoto Furukawa voices Grey. Other major characters are voiced by actors like Chiaki Omigawa, Kana Ichinose, and Rena Maeda.
Episode 3 of the anime will also release on April 16, the same day as the English dub’s first episode. Subtitled versions drop every Wednesday at 10:25 am PT, and the dub is expected to come shortly after.
Indian fans can watch both the sub and dub of The Beginning After the End directly on Crunchyroll.
