Madara Uchiha, or the Ghost of Uchiha, was a character that the fans of Naruto can never forget. For those who don't know, Madara Uchiha was the co-founder of Hidden Leaf Village along with Hashirama Senju. Without a doubt, he was a top-ranked shinobi and most probably the only one who went against the Hokage alliance. Madara Uchiha soon left Hidden Leaf Village due to his differing ideology as compared to Hashirama.
Madara had a very different ideology for the future of humanity. He believed that false peace is better than the constant suffering of humanity. And to do that, he had a plan of using the Moon to put the whole world under genjutsu. Apart from that, he had some of the most powerful abilities like Sharingan, Mangekyo Sharingan, and even Rinnegan.
Madara Uchiha and Kaguya Otsutsuki's impact in the last battle
Madara Uchiha was fully resurrected with the help of the Reanimation jutsu. He then manipulated Obito Uchiha from the curtains and gave birth to the Fourth Great Shinobi War. In the war, Madara was a god-tier battler as he nerfed down the hokage alliance single-handedly. Furthermore, he also fought against Naruto and Sasuke. And the most intriguing part about his journey is that the Ghost of Uchiha absorbed the ten-tailed beast and became its jinchuriki.
The last arc looked like Madara Uchiha was going to be the villain and the primary antagonist of the war. But things went haywire when Kaguya Otsutsuki used his body as a vessel and appeared out of nowhere. He passed away in the show after Kaguya got defeated, and in his last moments, there was only regret and nothing else. Here, all the fans agree that Madara deserved a better ending, as Kaguya taking over the body of the strongest Uchiha is something that none of the fans wanted to see.
