Abdul Shaikh: Doing a singing reality show is very important, it teaches a lot and gives opportunities

Mumbai based singer Abdul Shaikh, who was seen in the singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2023, got a breakthrough when he recently sang for Vikram Bhatt's film. The singer got a chance to sing songs for the film and he feels grateful for this opportunity.
Sharing about it, he says, "My songs Berang and Ishqaa Ishqaa have already been released and the film might go on floors by the end of March. I have been wanting to work with Vikram sir for a long time, I had sung some scratches for him earlier before I was part of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, but it didn't work out and now when it did, I couldn't be more grateful."
The 28-year-old singer gives credit to the reality show. He says, "That show changed a lot of things for me. I got to learn a lot of technicalities of music. I got to perform on stage all over India. As an artist, doing a singing reality show is very important, it teaches a lot and gives opportunities. Some of my videos also went viral due to which I got a chance to do playback singing."
Have been singing since the age of 19, Abdul says, "I always want to be a playback singer in Bollywood and I am still working on those dreams. One step at a time and I also do independent music on the side which keeps me going."
